Our Story
"My passion lies in creating pieces where femininity and elegance become one. Each design carries something unique, something that cannot be replicated, crafted from fabrics that feel as beautiful as they look."
— ALEXANDRA RAFIE
The Beginning
Alexandra Rafie was born in 2019 from a quiet desire: to create fashion that is sincere, feminine and timeless. Pieces that carry a story within them, not just a label.
Before launching my own house, I spent years working as a press attachee for some of the most respected couture and ready-to-wear houses in Paris. That world taught me precision. It taught me the weight of a detail done right, the difference between a garment that exists and one that stays with you. But beyond communication, I wanted to create. To build something that carried my own vision, my own story.
I am French, of Lebanese origin, raised between cultures that shaped the way I see elegance, femininity and the art of living. Between European modernity and the richness of the Middle East, I grew up believing that beauty lives in the details, the materials, the way a woman carries herself without thinking about it.
The Heritage
Fashion did not arrive in my life by accident. It was already there, long before I knew what to do with it. My grandfather owned a cotton factory in Aleppo. My mother ran a multi-brand boutique. I grew up surrounded by fabrics, cuts, silhouettes and women who understood what it meant to dress with intention. That love for the material, the texture, the way cloth falls and moves, it was passed down before I could name it.
Some things are inherited. The instinct for quality. The obsession with how something feels against the skin. The belief that a beautiful garment begins with a beautiful fabric. I carry that with me into every collection. It is in the DNA of this house, and it always will be.
The Craft
From the very first collection, I chose to produce in Lebanon. It was never a question. Supporting local artisanship, working alongside women whose talent and patience bring each piece to life, felt like the only honest way to build this house. Every garment is made with care, precision and a respect for craft that no machine can replicate.
Our pieces are produced in deliberately small quantities. I believe in rarity. In the idea that what you wear should feel special, almost singular. This is a conscious choice that allows us to focus on quality, finishing and a more thoughtful approach to fashion, far from overproduction and everything it leaves behind.
The Fabrics
Every collection begins with a search. I select fabrics for their drape, their texture, their comfort and their character. I look for materials that surprise, that feel alive in the hand, that catch the light in a way you did not expect. Bold without being loud. Rich without being heavy.
For me, a garment must feel as beautiful to wear as it is to look at. That is not negotiable. It is the starting point of everything we do, and the promise that runs through every piece that leaves our atelier.
The Footprint
Fashion has a cost that goes beyond price tags, and we refuse to ignore it. Every collection is designed with material efficiency at its core. We upcycle, we repurpose offcuts, and we build patterns that minimize waste from the very first sketch. What cannot be used in one piece finds its way into another.
We do not produce to fill shelves. We create what we believe in, in the quantities that make sense, and nothing more. No overstock. No dead inventory. No garments made only to be discounted and discarded. It is a slower way to work. It is also the only way that still makes sense.
The Woman
Alexandra Rafie is the reflection of this heritage and this vision. A house where femininity, character and modernity meet. I design for free, elegant, confident women who are looking for pieces with meaning as much as with style. Women who cross cultures, cities and seasons with the same quiet assurance.
She does not need fashion to tell her who she is. She wears it because it already feels like her.
